[EDIT] Changed the image a bit after our class critique. There's some improvements most notably in her face, her hair, and some overall texture work. Hope you don't mind the spamming, I couldn't stand to leave the older version up X)
*whew!* This is due tomorrow morning  O'course, I have to do two interiors to go with it and get it printed and matted too, but that's a stress rant I won't go into further. A project for my illustration class: design a book cover for a 'classic book'... I'm not exactly sure thirty years qualifies TLU as a classic, but my teacher and I are on pretty good terms, so I got it through  Anyway...lol, you should see the way the real media base for this tanked itself. I weep for the linework, but hey, if it hadn't have tanked, it never would've become digital now would it? Anyway, PLEASE don't take this. I can't emphasize enough how utterly peeved I would be if a portfolio piece like this got stolen. So, sorry for the intense watermarking. *shrug* Characters and story (C) Peter S. Beagle. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I love that you combined her true form with her human form with the hair/mane. Very very nice, the colors are excellant, really remind me of an old painting. I love the elongated, yet very regal look of her human form, adn from what I can see of her unicorn self, just stunning, love the eyes, eye brows and horn.
