Some coercement from *Droemar has me uploading these, as I really wasn't intending to after my last upload attempt was foiled by my computers lack of intestinal fortitude.
Right to left: Thrymir, the current kakahn prince; Lyriel, a high ranking but stubborn female (hence, the short tail and no 'shoulder mane' going on) and last Griffinai, whom you should all recognize by now.
Inked with brush and ink traditionally, colored digitally. If there's any interest (serious interest) in adopting your own kakahn character I'd like to know, it's possible I'd offer adoptions, complete with colored (as in...you color it) .psd template. I will only take ten of these, max.
[EDIT] Adoptions are closed. Keep your eyes open for more rounds in the future though!
All characters (C) myself. These are literary characters, not just internet-for-fun characters, I take theft of these guys a lot more seriously. Srsly. Don't use.
Oh I love how there turned out, particularly the dappling on Thrymir! I would love to have a go at coloring a kakahn if you offer that option! By adopting, do you mean roleplaying with them or just making a new one??
Mainly (for now) just making a new one. But I do plan on having an official Dumarian rp sometime in the future (hopefully the near) in which case those who 'officially' adopted one would get something...probably just a cheesy certificate, knowing my, but still. The idea appeals to me at least. By opting for an official adoption you'd get the whole package, including notes on how to make your kakahn canon and so forth. Of course, to make up those notes there's got to be some motivation for me to do so first

Most certainly. would you like me to type everything up and send it your way? It might take me a few days as I'm rather busy with school work (and dA is a great deal shorter than sitting down with real intent to actually do something) but I could probably send it your way some time this weekend.

Absolutely! And take your time, I've got to go play artist at a convention this weekend and try and earn some money, so no huge rush. I just have an awesome color scheme in mind and I'd like to try it out if it isn't non-canon!
Actually I have been interested in these creatures for a while, and I love coloring in other peoples line art =O
To make my own character would be fun ^_^ And I did a good amount of my challenges, so I think I may do some traditional fanart because I haven't done any traditional stuff in a while ^^ Should I message you when I get something up? (If I do get it done you most likely won't see it till the weekend).

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
